They'll Never Be Another

Great interview, might be better than the one he did with Steven A on the first episode of Quite Frankly. Watching this I couldn't help but feel lucky to have grown up watching Allen Iverson. The league will never allow a phenom with such a real persona to flourish the way AI did. I'm not saying that the L is trying to keep the man down, or that some of the stuff AI got into as a youth should be glamorized, or even that the dress code really changed things. When I hear how PC and automated every response from todays stars is it rubs me the wrong way a bit. I think its great that certain players are living up to their role model expectations and speaking like adults, but I do think the leagues extreme makeover killed the personality of the players and the fan connection with them. I think this move has already hurt them in some aspects of marketability. Anyways I'm thankful for Allen Iverson.

Also Chris Rock needs his own talk show again.
